Our Autumn Masquerade Ball will feature popular nineteenth-century dances such as line dances, quadrilles, and waltzes.
Some things to keep in mind when putting together your costume:
Shoes - please select shoes that will be kind to our wooden floor (i.e. no spurs or shoes with metal on the heels). Comfortable, closed, smooth-soled shoes are best for Victorian dancing.
Accessories - feel free to accessorize your costume in keeping with the Autumnal theme of the Ball. However, being that this is a dance, it is strongly recommended that you avoid anything that might "Fall" off, poke a fellow dancer, or in any way impede your own dancing.

Location- our Autumn Masquerade Ball will be held at the Rancho Santa Susana Community Center, 5005 - C Los Angeles Avenue, Simi Valley, CA. Note that this is the same location as our Colonial Dances and our Waltz and Polka Practices (the building across the street from the Metrolink station).
Autumn Masquerade Ball / Victorian Social Dancing is offered by the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District. For more information, call the RSRPD at (805) 584-4456.
